My Powerful Duo to Glowing Skin! (+ Bonus!)

Having and maintaining a glowing skin is a never-ending battle. We all want our skin to feel and look the best all the time; however, it takes a lot of effort!

Before I reveal my secret combination to maintain a glowing skin, it is essential to understand that whatever you put on your body will show on the outside. If you take in lots of (bad) oils, or infrequently have your meals, it will affect your skin.

Drinking water, on the other hand, will help you boost your natural glow! For a full post on what water does to our skin and health in general, read: H2O Balance = Beauty Balance

Therefore, I would always say step one to glowing skin is: HEALTHY food!

Then, this (in the photo above) is my POWER DUO – The Body Buff & The Body Soufflé by the brand Moroccan Oil – makes my skin glowing and super soft! I bought this almost a month ago, yet the containers still contain plenty of product 🙂

The Body Buff

A body scrub inspired by the Mediterranean seaside, as it is made with exfoliating sand, apricot and olive seed powders. These ingredients provide your skin with a gentle exfoliation, making sure the dead skin-cells come off. The argan, safflower and seasme oils nourish your skin as it’s very delicate after an exfoliation. Finally, the shea and cocoa butters provide long-lasting hydration!

The three groups of ingredients make the Body Buff an excellent product, different from other scrubs as it not only exfoliates, but also nourishes and hydrates with beneficial oils and butters.

The Body Soufflé

After exfoliation you need to moisture your body, it’s a fact ladies! You might have experienced that after exfoliating with a scrub, your skin does not feel as comfortable as you would like it to be. The Body Buff really already is a step ahead, as the comfort is there. But we want more, right? 🙂

The oils in the scrubs are meant for deeper hydrating. Whereas the Body Soufflé, which is a body lotion, will act on the first layer of the skin to provide a smooth surface.

The Soufflé is a very lightweight mix of argan oil and shea butter that is quickly absorbed into the skin for an intense hydration and smooth finish!

How do I use it for the best results?

It’s super easy and straight forward. I simply use the Buff approx. 2 times a week when I shower. On damp skin I apply the scrub in circular motions, and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Once out of the shower, I towel dry my entire body and with massage the Soufflé (which, by the way, has such an amazing scent) all over!

Due to the quickly absorbing formula of the lotions, I can right after wear my clothes 🙂

Ready to rock the day with a glowing skin, always!

BONUS

Together with the two products above, I also bought the Moroccan Oil Treatment for my hair. I only apply a tiny drop on towel-dry hair-ends and style as usual. You can also use it as a finishing product or to get rid of flying baby-hair 🙂 However, use very little to avoid greasiness.

I feel that it has added life back to my ends and they feel suuuuuuper hydrated and soft 🙂 Moreover, it’s for all hair-types, adds shine and makes your hair smooth!!

  1. Do you know if these products have a lot of fillers in them, or just a few natural ingredients? I always used proactive, and then one day I was talking to the girl who does my facials, and she told me bigger brands use a lot of fillers in their products. This can actually damage you skin in the long run! So now I am looking for something like this that will give me a healthy glow and keep my skin hydrated. So if this has no fillers, I am going to have to buy some!!!! This was a great article, I will totally be reading more!

  2. Firstly, congratz now you are a real Beautistaa! Thanks for following and appreciating 🙂

I do at some extend agree with your concern. Jo Malone London’s products contains alcohol to keep the content good for a long run, of course. However, I haven’t had any problems with the brand, and I have a sensitive and dry skin – but then again, every skin is different. Personally, I would advice you to use their perfumes ONLY, and if you want to have a good cream, maybe it’s better go to for Moroccan Oil – I wrote about that too: https://wp.me/p7USms-4G7 – this is much better when one wants to achieve a beautiful hydrated skin!

Goodluck dear, and I hope it works for you too!
