Heyloooo there beautiful ladies!
I think all of us can relate to that 🙂 Today it will be all about hair. However, it’s not just another hair care post; rather, it is something you may find a little weird… What matters, though, is that IT WORKS!
Once upon a time… when I was a little girl with beautiful long, curly hair, I got obsessed by much shorter hair and hairbands due to a film I had watched in which the main lead, of course, had short hair with beautiful hairbands.
I insisted to my parents that I wanted to go for a cut. Until my mid-teen years I didn’t regret my middle-long hair, which refused to grow longer than mid-length. Around the time I was 16-17 years, I wanted my hair to be longer again. I started using various oils, ate more healthy and, well, you know the drill 😉
Nothing worked. Maybe because I didn’t continue with anything for a sufficiently long period? I don’t know, it was just taking too long for my feeling.
In 2014, I was looking for a ”good” shampoo as I, of course, still wanted long hair. I was at a stage of laddering various products on my scalp and hair. This is when I bumped into the brand Morrocco Method. On its website, I came across an interesting tip: Lunar Hair Care.
” For centuries humans have followed the moon’s cycles to determine when to plant and harvest crops; planting during a particular lunar cycle determines what the crop will yield, and often how much it will yield. This same practice can be applied to your hair. It’s called Lunar Hair Care.” – Morrocco Method
Lunar Hair Care
So, what does Lunar Hair Care actually mean? It means that your follow the moon’s cycle, which will determine when to cut your hair.
There are five benefits for your hair: thicken, beautify, lengthen, root work, and strengthen.
How does it work?
It’s a piece of cake: you cut the tiniest amount of your hair-ends each month when it’s full moon!
Easy right? It might sound funny and maybe ridiculous, but believe me and try it out: you will see your hair transform! 🙂
I have personally experienced it. I started in 2014 and each month I used to cut my ends. Result? During my wedding in 2016 I had longer hair than ever before! A Spanish colleague had hold me of this method before, to which my reaction was: ”nooo way! I don’t believe that.” However, I was sooo desperate and had tried many things already, that I just gave it a shot.
Ultimately, researching on the Internet and also reading further on the Morrocco Method website gave me more confidence in this method.
I am leaving a link to Morrocco Method for more information and specific dates in order to achieve when you can best achieve one of the five benefits. There is an illustrative chart provided, which looks like this:
5 benefits: follow one of them or just cut your hair-ends at full moon to maintain all five!
Root work: work on the roots of your hair for healthy hair
Beautify: more shine and glow
Strengthen: hair that does not break and/or stretch
Lengthen: work on long(er) hair
Thicken: improve the thickness of each hair for a fuller scalp.
